Who we are

Greeky with a Squeegee is a window, gutter and exterior cleaning business based in Chilliwack, British Columbia, serving homeowners and businesses across the Fraser Valley. We operate on-site rather than from a storefront.

This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website, by phone, by email and in the course of providing our services. We handle personal information in accordance with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), as applicable.

What we collect

We only ask for what we need to quote a job, turn up at the right place and follow up afterwards.

• Contact details — your name, phone number and email address.
• Property details — the service address, property type, approximate window count, storeys, access notes and anything else you tell us about the work.
• Photos you send us — images you attach to a quote request to show us the property or a specific problem.
• Service history — what we cleaned, when, what it cost and any notes relevant to doing the job properly next time.
• Correspondence — the emails, texts and voicemails exchanged between us.
• Basic website data — standard technical information your browser sends when you load a page, such as approximate location, device and browser type.

We do not collect payment card numbers through this website, and we don't ask for financial information, identification numbers or anything else a cleaning quote doesn't need.

Why we collect it

• To prepare and send you a quote.
• To schedule, perform and invoice the work.
• To contact you about your booking — confirmations, arrival times, weather rescheduling and anything we noticed at the property.
• To honour the Fraser Valley Rain Guarantee, which requires knowing when the original service took place.
• To arrange bi-annual visits for customers who have asked for recurring service.
• To keep the records a small business is required to keep.

If you ask us not to contact you again, we'll stop. We don't run marketing email lists, and we don't send promotional texts.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We don't share it with other contractors, marketers, lead-generation companies or data brokers. Your address and phone number are not a product.

Photos of your property

We sometimes take before-and-after photos of completed work. These are used for our own quality records and, occasionally, on our website or social media to show the standard of the work.

When a photo is used publicly, we don't include your name, your address or anything that identifies where the property is. If you'd rather we didn't photograph your property at all, or you'd like a photo already published taken down, tell us and we'll handle it — no explanation needed.

Third-party services on this site

A few parts of this website are provided by other companies, and using them means information passes through their systems. Each has its own privacy policy.

• Jotform — hosts our quote request form and receives whatever you enter into it.
• Google Maps — the embedded service-area maps are loaded from Google.
• Google Fonts — the site's typefaces are served by Google.
• Soro — powers the blog section on our blog page.
• Facebook and Instagram — we link to our profiles; we don't run tracking pixels on this site.

We may also use aggregate website statistics to understand which pages people find useful. We don't use that information to identify individual visitors.

Cookies

This website doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. The embedded services listed above may set their own cookies when you interact with them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though embedded maps and the quote form may not.

How long we keep it

Quote requests that don't turn into bookings are kept for about a year, in case you come back to us. Customer and service records are kept as long as you're a customer and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet tax and business record-keeping requirements. After that they're deleted.

How we protect it

Your information is held in password-protected accounts and devices, accessible only to the people who run the business. We take reasonable steps to guard against loss, theft and unauthorized access. No system is perfect, but we keep the amount of information we hold small deliberately — the less there is, the less there is to lose.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct anything that's wrong.
• Delete your information, where we're not required to keep it.
• Stop contacting you.
• Withdraw consent for something you previously agreed to.

Children

Our services are sold to property owners and occupants. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 19.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting existing customers will be communicated directly.
